Today I’ve got a gorgeous Washington Pa Barn wedding to share with you! These 2 had their ceremony at Christian Missionary Alliance in Washington, Pa, and then had their reception at the family farm. It was stunning, and I can’t wait to share their love story with you!
How they met:
We actually met online on eHarmony, and while online, we found out that we had a lot in common. We ended up meeting at Panera for the first time and ended up “closing” the restaurant and standing in the parking lot and talking. The next day we ended up getting together again and just chatting for a little bit since I was going to be back up in his area to go shopping with a friend.
How did Tim Propose?
He proposed the day after his birthday when we were decorating the Christmas tree. I could tell he was a little nervous that day! We were making dinner together, and I noticed that he had put on cologne (I was like, “hmmm… That’s a little unusual in the afternoon!). After dinner, we were sitting on the couch, admiring the tree, when he said, “It’s missing something.” He came back in the room with an ornament, and we stood by the tree while I opened it. On the front was a picture of us, and on the back, was the question, “Will you marry me?” I couldn’t get my “yes” out fast enough! Decorating the tree will always be so special to me.
What do you love most about Tim?
Tim has such an amazingly compassionate and soft heart that I love. He always makes a point of finding the good in each person, something that I greatly admire. He goes out of his way to make me feel special and protected, and I have never met a man who is so selfless and caring.
We did photos after the ceremony on their gorgeous farm. It was crazy sunny, but we were able to find a few covered spots and a few gracious clouds. 🙂
What are your favorite things to do together?
We like to go see movies, make a new recipes, sit outside and look at the stars, listen to music, snuggle up on the couch and watch movies, try new restaurants, watch a game/ read (I read; he watches the game, but I’m getting more into sports!), go on walks, go to church/ worship concerts & talk about God
The ground was pretty wet because the day before the wedding brought torrential downpours… So I kept them on the path and out of the grass/water. And so I stepped into the DEEP grass near the stream PRAYING that there were no snakes. Ha ha… I survived. 🙂 And, it was totally worth it!
