Some of you might remember when I first started blogging, I did a blog on wedding cake pops!! I shared that it is a dream of mine to someday have a cake pop business…..well that is still exactly what it is, a dream but I’m trying to work on making it a reality!! In the meantime, I’ve been making pops for friends and family!! Today, I wanted to share a few I made a couple weekends ago!
This year I joined a Relay for Life Team, we’re the Rad Racers!
Relay for life is a great way to make a difference in the fight to end cancer. Cancer affects each and every one of us in one way or another throughout our lifetime. This year, we’re walking in memory of a childhood friend and classmate Nicki Tecza Radosevic. Nicki was a kind and loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She lost her battle with cervical cancer in 2012. We are walking in her honor this June 1st at General McLane’s Relay For Life Event!
You’re probably wondering where cake pops fall into this. Well, a few weekends ago I made Relay For Life cake pops for a bake sale that was held!
That same weekend, I got to go to a bridal shower for my soon to be cousin Marissa! My cousin Steve found an incredible women and they are getting married in Philadelphia in July!! I can’t wait to share their special day with them! I was honored to make cake pops for her shower!! Such a great day it was!
Thanks for letting me share my dream with you!!! Any feedback or advice on the pops would be awesome!!
