I am loving this trend of intimate weddings! I’ve got another Intimate Phipps Conservatory Broderie Room wedding to share with you today.
Jennifer and Alex had the most gorgeous day. And despite a number of bumps in the road leading up to the day (including the Alfred Angelo fiasco, although they did ship her dress!), Jen was in such great spirits, and they had a gorgeous wedding ceremony! I am sure that it is so easy to get caught up in all of the details (and in the long run, the things that don’t truly matter), but Jen and Alex did not lose sight of the most important piece of their day… their marriage covenant.
It was such an honor to be there documenting their wedding day. Jen’s dad was the ceremony officiant, and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. There is something really special about sharing the day with your closest friends and family. If I were to do it again 11 years later, it is probably what I would do. 🙂
And now a little about their sweet love story!
How did you meet?
I was a lifeguard at IUP and Alex was on the swim team. What a dreamboat!
How did he propose?
We were riding our bikes from Pittsburgh to D.C. and he proposed on big savage mountain on day 3 of our trip!!
What do you love most about Alex?
