Noel + John | Married!

I’ve said this before, but these two are some of the sweetest people that I have ever worked with!  (Here is their Fells Point Engagement Session)

They have been together for 9 years, which has such a sweetness to it because they have already been a part of each other’s families for a long time, and the relationships run deep. It was really incredible to witness. <3

And it all started at Ropewalk. 🙂

Here is part 1 of their wedding day!

Here’s their story:

This is funny, but John and I met at Ropewalk, a bar in Federal Hill. At first, I was talking to his friend Anthony, who is one of John’s closest friends. He’s actually from Pittsburgh and while we had a few things in common, he knew I was a big Ravens fan and that I would likely hit it off with his friend (John) who he was with. Sure enough, John and I talked the rest of the night. It didn’t hurt that he told me he too was a big Ravens fan and season ticket holder:)

The ladies got ready at the Four Seasons Baltimore. Such a gorgeous hotel. And you will LOVE LOVE LOVE their Stationery suite.

The stunning bride to be. She smiled the ENTIRE day. They both did…

How he proposed:

We were in Bar Harbor, Maine. While I had been suspicious about the weekend away, I would never have guessed based on what we were doing. We were doing some hiking in Acadia National Park and climbing some pretty big boulders and rocks. John later told me that he wrapped the ring in a receipt (!!) so that I wouldn’t notice a jewelry box.

And here’s John! He had the most amazing custom suite with his name and wedding date stitched right in.

Just before their first look.

Noel’s veil was blowing a lot… and it made her feel like it was pulling her hairstyle out, but man did it make for some gorgeous photos!

What are you most excited about for your wedding day?

I’m most excited to be John’s wife of all things with the wedding day. If I could pick a second thing, I am truly overwhelmed and overjoyed to have all of our favorite family and friends in one place for our day. Days like that don’t happen normally and the thought of it makes me truly overjoyed and so thankful for all of those people in one room to celebrate.

A little side story.

Ok, so my perception of John is that he is incredibly kind, polite, proper… You’re tracking with me right?

I still die laughing when I think about doing their portraits and out of the blue John looks at me and says, “Whatchu want?”

It was the last thing I expected him to say…  🙂 I still laugh out loud thinking about it. Maybe you had to be there…. I wish I had a video clip of it. 🙂

And with that…. you’ll just have to sit tight for part 2 of their day! So much more to come! The ceremony, portraits on Federal Hill, and an amazing reception!

Thank you to an amazing team of vendors who worked hard to care for Noel and John on their day!
